During the 27th International Bakery China, GEA Group presented its innovation from IBA 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the high-speed extruder/line cutter, which won the “2025 Bakery-China Innovation Product Award” for its precise dough molding technology. As the “Olympics” of the global bakery industry, IBA 2025 attracted 985 exhibitors from 46 countries, showcasing a full range of solutions from artisanal baking to fully automated production lines. For example, VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH launched a modular pastry production line, which can adjust mold parameters in real time through AI algorithms and support flexible production of pies, tarts, cookies and other categories.

GEA's “Bakery Total Value Chain Solution” integrates the production line of cream, butter and other dairy-based raw materials, and realizes the seamless connection from raw materials to finished products through intelligent control system. For the first time, the exhibition also set up the “ESG Pavilion” to showcase equipment manufacturers' technological paths towards carbon neutrality by 2040, such as the integration of photovoltaic power generation, waste heat recovery systems, and so on.
